Q. When is the cut off date to buy tickets?
A. To be eligible for the Bonus Prize Draw, tickets must be purchased by midnight, February 4, 2008. To be eligible for the Super Early Bird Prize Draws, tickets must be purchased by midnight March 31, 2008. To be eligible for Final Draws, tickets must be purchased by April 17, 2008.
Q. How do I know if I am a winner?
A. All winners will be notified by phone and/or mail. A Grand Prize Winners list will be published in the Toronto Sun on April 24th, 2008 (May 15th, 2008 if all tickets are not sold by March 31st, 2008)
Q. How do I know if I am a Super Early Bird Prize winner?
A. Super Early Bird Prize winners are notified by phone and you can check the website on cashforcancer.com.
Q. How do I claim my prize?
A. If you are a winner, you will be given instructions by phone or mail on how to claim your prize.
Q. If I win the Bonus Draw or a Super Early Bird Prize do I still qualify for the Grand Prizes?
A. Yes, once drawn, each ticket does back into the drum for all subsequent draws.
Q. Is my lottery ticket tax deductible?
A. No, regulations prohibit charities from issuing tax receipts for mega lottery ticket purchases.

A. Roberts, Marlowe, Jackson, Jackson and Associates Chartered Accountants
Q. Where do the proceeds from the Lottery go?
A. Proceeds will benefit the R.S. McLaughlin Durham Regional Cancer Centre and will also help support research, equipment and patient care within the Cancer Centre
Q. How old do you have to be to purchase a lottery ticket?
A. According to the rules and regulations of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario ticket purchasers must be at least 18 years of age.
Q. Can I buy a ticket if I live outside the Province of Ontario?
A. According to the rules and regulations of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario ticket purchasers must reside in the Province of Ontario.
Q. If I move after I purchase a ticket, how do I notify the Lottery with my address change?

Q. In addition to supporting the Lottery with a ticket purchase, how do I make a deductible donation to the new Durham Regional Cancer Centre?
A. You may make a donation by contacting The Oshawa Hospital Foundation at 905-433-4339. You may also make a donation at any of our Kiosk by filling out the form that have been provided for you in our Cash for Cancer Lottery Brochure and we will send your tax deductible receipt by mail. ($15.00 minimum donation to receive tax receipt)
